I am passionate about education, which is why I pursued a career as a teacher. I attended the University of South Carolina in Columbia, SC. I have been a math teacher at the high school level for two years now. Before I began teaching in the classroom, I spent a few years tutoring students one-on-one. I have tutored students in elementary school, middle school, and high school, and I have the most experience working with students in grades 3-11. When I teach and tutor, I am very motivated to lead struggling students to success. Math classes I tutor include basic arithmetic, elementary math, middle school math, algebra 1, and geometry. I also tutor business and executive functioning courses. In addition, I can also teach students general good study skills that they can then utilize in all of their classes. When not teaching or tutoring, I enjoy reading inspirational books and shopping.
