I have a Bachelors of Science of Criminology with a Minor in Political Science from Barry University and I just completed my Master's degree in Urban Education. I understand social behavior as well as the functions of the U.S government. I understand that students that come from different cultural backgrounds do not learn the same and that it is necessary to create a learning experience that caters to the individual student. I want to be a tutor because I enjoy teaching students and sharing knowledge. I am good at finding particular strengths and and then building on the students strengths. I am certified to teach Social Sciences grades 6-12 for the State of FLorida. For the 2014-15 school year I won an award for being a highly effective teacher.

Hobbies
I enjoy reading historical non-fiction. This history of people of African Descent is my favorite. History is important to me because it always repeats itself and it is imperative we all learn from our mistakes in order to grow as a society and as individuals. I also enjoy exercising, going to the beach and watching movies.
